TINKLER HANGER

This design for a hangar at the Brisbane airport wraps an 1800m2 aircraft hangar with 700m2 of office and further auxiliary spaces, so that the project takes a commercial appearance rather than a heavy industrial one. This is despite the hangar itself spanning 48m with a 45m opening. The street face is defined by a double-height porte cochere, pairing metallic and glazed finishes to give a sophisticated sense of arrival to the premises.
