TANGALOOMA HOUSE

Location: Tangalooma, Queensland

Status: Completed

A large house on a steep North-facing site in Tangalooma on Moreton Island. Constructed of timber and fibre-cement panels in a nautical colour scheme, the house is a celebration of Queensland coastal living. The design steps up with the topography across three floors, creating a series of elevated spaces that maximise ocean views. Above the casual living spaces, a private retreat occupies the entire third floor.
