Rise Apartments is a five-storey development on an elevated corner site in Chermside. Positioned in a corridor of detached housing undergoing gradual densification, qualities of neighbourliness were key to the planning of the scheme. The project consists of 43 units, with one bathroom per bedroom throughout the scheme.

 

Generous setbacks reduce the impact of the project on its neighbours, as do large balconies to each apartment. Landscaping covers 20% of the site, primarily along the side and rear boundaries, giving a green buffer to neighbouring low-rise houses. The added advantage for residents is the provision of inviting views in all directions.
