A family home located on an acreage block in the outer suburb of The Gap. The house is screened to the west with a grove of existing gums and a heavy rammed earth wall which runs from inside to outside creating the entry and a hidden courtyard. A combination of lightweight timber framed construction and glazing enclose the remainder. The rear deck is fully screened to create a usable external living space overlooking adjoining hills.
