Significant alterations and additions to a Queenslander in Northgate. The brief called for the small, low-set existing house to be modified as a family home. In response, the house was extended to provide four bedrooms and a separate playroom for young children. The addition was laid out in a linear arrangement on the Southern boundary, opening up the Northern aspect and creating an easy relationship with a new deck extending from the dining and living space.
