Perched high on Hamilton Hill this project seeks to maximise usage of valuable space made redundant by surrounding development as a pool side BBQ terrace and entertaining space. Taking advantage of the steeply sloping, though commanding wedge of land, the proposal terraces the hillside to generate spaces of differing character that cascade down the site. The largest terrace is also the highest and commands views from the city to Moreton Island. Closely connected with the existing pool this terrace features a lavishly equipped outdoor kitchen and expansive paved dinning area. This space cascades down to a more intimate landscape terrace featuring fire-pit and off form concrete bench seating and a more focused view toward the east.
