Location: Business Drive, Narangba, Brisbane
With 2,600m2 of warehouse on a 5,400m2 Narangba site, the brief for this industrial development was remarkable for its small hardstand requirements, calling for a highly efficient use of the site. This was achieved by recessing the loading bays into the plan, which open towards the North. By suspending a mezzanine office above the ground level car parking, the façade breaks the visual mass of the warehouse, using a simple grid of robust elements to bring human scale to the industrial form.
