Profile

Principal Director, Bo Husband, has been in practice in the Brisbane inner northern suburb of Clayfield since 1994 as Husband+Leith Architects. Since that time, the practice has established a strong residential, commercial and industrial base with a wide range of projects from large commercial developments to single family residences being undertaken. In April 2008, the practice evolved as Husband Architects.

Today the practice still strives to maintain a high level of skill, communication, excellence in design, and collaboration with all those involved in every step of the process.

Husband Architects prides itself on attention to detail and building strong client relationships whilst constantly adhering to the basics of good architecture. Husband Architects has also been closely involved in creating environments which adhere to environmental sustainable design principles, including Brisbane’s first 4 star GreenStar rated office building at 12-14, The Circuit at Brisbane Airport.

Husband Architects is a dynamic and approachable company who have dedication and enthusiasm for what they do. They offer a wealth of experience while placing importance on observing new innovations within the discipline.

Each project is carried out under the personal control of one of the directors. Staff allocations, including drafts persons and CAD operators, are determined on an 'as needs' basis and are reviewed as work proceeds to ensure that all projects are properly resourced.

Husband Architects run a contemporary Computer Aided Design (CAD) design system utilising Microsoft WindowsXP with Archicad and AutoCad software.
